MIDDLETON, WI - Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is the first single-board computer company to incorporate Amphenol's next generation VIPER technology into its VPX (VITA 46) Amphenolproduct line. VIPER technology provides a fully shielded connector solution that meets 2 Level maintenance requirements, while maintaining footprint compatibility with the VITA 46 standard. The VIPER platform also offers the ability to scale from 80 MBps to 10 Gbps, with potential to support up to 12 Gbps, providing a path to upcoming high speed differential interconnect standards.
